About

Gary Dworetsky's music has been heard in films, video games, TV shows, and concert halls around the world. He's worked on projects as diverse as Fast & Furious 6 (film), and Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington (video game), and The Bible (TV). He has worked closely with composers Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, and Lorne Balfe, composing for the video games Beyond: Two Souls (BAFTA nominated) and Bless, a massive multiplier online game. He has written music for the wildly successful Skylanders franchise, including Skylanders: SWAP Force and Skylanders: Trap Team. In 2013, he teamed up with upcoming directors Daniel Stine on the short Grape, earning him a nomination for the Domani Vision Award in the Short Form Score category. He is currently working on the video game Star Crusade, and will be composing with Steve Jablonsky on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

In the concert music world, Gary Dworetsky has composed and orchestrated for ensembles including Manhattan Symphonie Orchestra where he was resident composer, Ureuk Symphony Orchestra, and One World Symphony. He has built a reputation for his epic romantic concert works such as Korea is One, which was performed in New York City and Pyongyang, North Korea. This makes him one of the few American composers to ever have a concert work performed there. He has written a cycle of works for Sumerian Gods, with orchestral works including Wrath of the Anunnaki, Enki's Creation, Inanna and the Seven Gates, and Netherworld Montage.
